Common Questions

Everything You
Need to Know.

Clear, honest answers about the Vitalis experience — from your first appointment to ongoing wellness.

The Experience

Vitalis isn't a menu-based IV service. It's a private clinical practice that comes to you. You select your therapy, and before every session, a critical care RN — eight years of experience — completes a structured health assessment to confirm it's right for you or recommend an adjustment. The final decision is always yours. After each visit, we follow up within 24 hours so your next session is informed by how you responded to the last.

Your registered nurse will arrive at your scheduled time and begin with a brief health assessment — including a review of your medical history, current medications, vital signs, and wellness goals. Once cleared, they will prepare your infusion, place a small IV line, and begin your drip. Most clients relax, work, watch TV, or simply rest during the session. When complete, the nurse removes the IV, ensures you feel well, and tidies the space before departing.

Most standard IV infusions take between 45 and 60 minutes to complete. The health assessment and setup add approximately 10–15 minutes at the start. NAD+ sessions take longer, typically 2–4 hours depending on the dose selected, as the infusion must be administered slowly for comfort and safety. Your nurse will give you an accurate time estimate at the start of your appointment.

Many clients report noticeable improvements in energy, hydration, and mental clarity during or shortly after their infusion. Because IV therapy delivers nutrients directly into the bloodstream — bypassing the digestive system — absorption is nearly 100% and effects are often experienced faster than oral supplementation. Results vary by individual, infusion type, and wellness status at the time of the appointment.

Safety & Clinical

Yes. When administered by qualified clinical professionals under physician-directed protocols, IV therapy is a well-established and safe practice. At Vitalis, every infusion is administered by a licensed registered nurse with years of clinical experience. A health screening is performed before every appointment, all infusions use pharmaceutical-grade compounds, and our nurses carry emergency preparedness equipment. Client safety is our foremost priority — we will decline to proceed if any safety concern is identified.

All Vitalis treatment protocols are developed, reviewed, and overseen by licensed physicians. This physician oversight ensures that our infusion formulations meet clinical standards and are appropriate for concierge administration. Our registered nurses operate within clearly defined standing orders and escalate any clinical concerns as required.

Yes. A brief health intake is completed during the booking process, and your registered nurse will perform an in-person assessment — including vital signs and a review of your health history — before administering any infusion. This is a non-negotiable part of our safety protocol, not a formality. Certain conditions or medications may affect eligibility for specific infusions, and your nurse will advise accordingly.

Certain medical conditions — including kidney disease, heart failure, and some electrolyte disorders — may affect whether IV therapy is appropriate for you. Some infusion components may also interact with medications. This is precisely why our pre-appointment screening exists. Please disclose your complete medical history and current medications during booking so your nurse can ensure the safest, most appropriate experience for you.
